Williamsburg, Va. - The TCU Horned Frogs fell to 2-5 on the season after they dropped the final game of the Tribe Nike Invite in Williamsburg, Va. Sunday afternoon. The Frogs fell to George Mason, 3-1 with Jessi Moore collecting the lone goal for the Frogs once again. For the second straight game the Frogs were locked in a defensive battle as each team only took six shots apiece, but the Patriots made three of theirs count.

The first half of the game saw GMU outshoot the Frogs 3-1, connecting on two of them. Sarah Fack scored both goals for the Patriots. George Mason took the early lead exactly eight minutes into the contest as Fack took a crossing feed from Rachel Wiggins and found the back of the net to give GMU the 1-0 lead.

Seven minutes later, Fack made it 2-0 with her second goal of the game. Once again Wiggins found Fack in the right spot as she headed it into the back of the net, beating TCU goalkeeper, Ashley Pierret.

The Frogs lone shot of the period was on goal, but Sarah Coughlin, in her lone period of work was there for the save, keeping it a 2-0 lead going into the half.

TCU turned up the pressure in the second half as they outshot GMU 5-3. Moore connected for her fifth goal of the season in the 79th minute, cutting the score in half, 2-1. Frog newcomer, Bjarnveig Birgisdottir fed the ball to Moore was waiting in the center of the box. Moore blasted it past goalkeeper Olivia Brown for the Frogs only goal of the contest.

George Mason responded a minute later as they picked up their third goal of the game. Sarah Wilkinson was the culprit this time as she took a feed from Franmarie Gregg and chipped it past Pierret for the 3-1 lead.

Karissa Hill led the Frogs offensively as she took three shots in the game, two of which were on goal. Pierret made one save in the loss.

TCU will begin conference action next weekend as they hit the road for the first two games to kick off the C-USA portion of their schedule. The Frogs will square off against Southern Miss on Friday night in Hattieburg, Miss. Game time is slated for 4:00 p.m.
