STILLWATER, Okla. - TCU jumped out to a 3-0 lead in the first half, but couldn't hold off an Oklahoma State rally as the match ended with a 3-3 tie after two overtimes. Monica Alvarado scored twice for the Horned Frogs.

For Alvarado, it marks the second time this season she has found the back of the net twice in a match. She potted a pair of goals in a 2-0 win at Rice. The two goals gives her a team-leading five on the season.

Oklahoma State had the early pressure in the match as it drove the ball deep into the Frogs' defensive zone. A crossing feed landed at the feet of Megan Marchesano who took a shot that was knocked just wide by Vittoria Arnold.

TCU used the momentum from the save and turned the ball upfield. The pressure by the Frogs earned them a corner kick. Bobbi Clemmer's kick found its way into the box, but Madeline Hamm's turnaround shot sailed high over the crossbar.

The Frogs were finally able to turn the pressure into a 1-0 lead 14 minutes into the contest. Clemmer's corner kick once again caused havoc in the goal box and Alvarado was there to head the ball past a scrambling Adrianna France.

Just over four minutes later, the Frogs earned a throw in. Brittany Slyman's flip-throw was headed into the goal box. A deflection in front put the ball right at the feet of Maddy Courvoisier, who blasted it in for a 2-0 lead.

TCU kept the pressure on and earned a free kick after a Cowgirl foul. Slyman took the free kick and Franch had to make a lunging save, knocking the ball off the crossbar to give the Frogs a corner kick. On the ensuing kick by Clemmer, the Cowgirls had trouble clearing the ball. Courvoisier was there to tap the ball over to a wide-open Alvarado who knocked it in, pushing the TCU lead to 3-0 35 minutes into the match.

Late in the first half, the Cowgirls began to take the momentum back. A TCU foul set up a free kick just outside the goal box. Marchesano took the kick and managed to sneak it just over the line as Arnold had trouble corralling the ball.

Trailing 3-1 heading into the second half, Oklahoma State wasted little time getting the game tied at three. On a throw in deep in the Frogs' defensive zone, the ball bounced around and eventually landed at the feet of Marchesano and she kicked it high over the outstretched hands of Arnold to cut the deficit to one just five minutes into the half.

Four minutes later, the Cowgirls knotted the game at three. A well-executed break out play saw Marchesano carry the ball down the sideline. She pulled up and sent a pass back to Makenzie Kahan who took the long shot that went in the upper part of the net, tying the game at three.

Both teams settled into a defensive style as the chances became few and far between the rest of the way.

Oklahoma State's best chance to take the lead came in the 65th minute as Kesley Bass' bid hit the post and trickled just wide for a goal kick. TCU had an opportunity in the first overtime but Courvoisier's shot was knocked away by Franch.

With the tie, TCU moves to 5-7-2 overall and 0-3-1 in Big 12 play. The Frogs will stay on the road as they will take on Oklahoma Sunday afternoon. Match time is set for 1 p.m. Fans unable to make it to Norman will be able to watch the match live on Fox Sports Southwest as Sooner Sports TV will broadcast the match.
