Soccer to Host Winter ID Camp
Jan. 30, 2014
FORT WORTH - The TCU women's soccer program will host its second annual Winter ID Camp Feb. 8-9 in the Sam Baugh Indoor Practice Facility. The camp will feature coaches from around the country and is open to females ages 14 and up.
This two-day event is designed for advanced player development and exposure to some of the nation's top college coaches. College Coaches from across the region and country will be in attendance, and will represent Divisions 1, 2 and 3. In addition to college coaches, several Horned Frog players will be employed by the camp for demonstration purposes.
The TCU Soccer Staff believes that "the game is the best teacher." The same philosophy will be applied at camp. The focus of all activities will be learning through play. Enrollment in the camp will be extremely limited to allow individual attention for each player from the staff of college coaches. A combination of small sided and full 11 vs 11 games will be at the core of the camp curriculum.
Players should plan on being available Saturday morning beginning at 9:00 am, and finishing Sunday afternoon by 1:00 pm.
Cost of the camp is $255. To register, contact assistant coach Kelsey Davis at admin@ericbellsocceracademy or register online at ericbellsocceracademy.com.
