TCU Soccer Signs Ashley Pierret

Feb. 5, 2004

Fort Worth, Texas - TCU head soccer coach David Rubinson announced the signing of Ashley Pierret from Dallas Ursuline Academy. Pierret has been the goalkeeper for the three-time state champions of the TAPPS league.

In 2001 and 2002, Pierret earned second-team all-state honors as a member of the varsity team at Ursuline. She has also been a member of the Olympic Development Program D'Feeters team since 2001. Twice she participated internationally at the Gothia Cup in Sweden, winning it all in her second appearance, allowing only two goals in eight games.

"We think with Ashley's athleticism and experience she will be able to come into our program and have the opportunity to make an immediate impact," said Rubinson. "We are very pleased that a player of her caliber would choose to come TCU."

Pierret will be a freshman at TCU in the fall.
