Soccer Announces Spring Slate

Feb. 6, 2018

FORT WORTH - Soccer spring practice is well underway as the team begins preparation for the 2018 season. TCU will participate in five matches this spring including two at Garvey-Rosenthal Soccer Stadium.

The slate of matches starts Saturday, March 3 when the Horned Frogs travel to Texarkana to take on Central Arkansas at 2 p.m.

Two more road matches follow on Saturday, March 24 at Texas A&M. Match time is slated for 3 p.m. The Frogs final road tilt of the spring comes Saturday, April 7 at SMU beginning at Noon.

For the first time in two years, spring soccer makes its return to campus. The field underwent massive renovations in the spring of 2017 forcing the Frogs to play their entire spring season away from the friendly confines. TCU will conclude its spring campaign with two home matches.

North Texas will make its way south on Saturday, April 14 for a 2:30 p.m. start. The spring slate concludes on April 21st against Northwestern State at 3 p.m.

The Frogs are coming off of two straight NCAA appearances and back-to-back 12-win seasons. The roster features 24 members from the 2017 team.
