Prokof, Doctson Honored By FCA

TCU football's Josh Doctson and TCU soccer's Michelle Prokof were recently named the 2014 TCU Fellowship of Christian Athletes Bob Lilly Athletes of the Year.

Doctson, a senior wide receiver, was a semifinalist for the Earl Campbell Tyler Rose Award and a second-team All-Big 12 member. He also earned the Big 12 Offensive Player of the Week and College Football Performance Awards National Wide Receiver of the Week for his performance against Oklahoma State.

He surpassed the 1,000-yard milestone on a 27-yard touchdown catch in the Chick-Fil-A Peach Bowl. He lead the team with a total of 1,018 total yards, 65 catches and 11 touchdowns.

Sophomore forward Michelle Prokof wrapped up her season, leading the team and tying for fifth in the Big 12 with five assists. Her four goals tied for second on the team while her 13 total points tied for first. She collected a team-high three gaming winning goals.
