2013 Schedule

FORT WORTH - TCU soccer head coach Eric Bell has announced the 2013 schedule. The slate of contests features nine home games and nine road contests. Highlighting the 2013 schedule are six contests against squads that advanced to the postseason a year ago.

The 2013 campaign gets off to a fast start as the Horned Frogs will have four road contests under their belts before they play their first home game. Kicking off the year will be a trip to Missoula, Montana where the Frogs will square off against a pair of former league foes, Wyoming (Aug. 23) and Air Force (Aug. 25). The road trip continues the next weekend when the Frogs travel to LSU (Aug. 30) and Houston Baptist (Sept. 1).

TCU's home slate kicks off with a bang as the Frogs will host a pair of NCAA Tournament teams in Illinois State (Sept. 6) and North Texas (Sept. 8). A brief trip to Dallas for a meeting with SMU (Sept. 12) follows before the Frogs return home for three straight. The non-conference schedule concludes with contests against Arkansas (Sept. 15), Denver (Sept. 20) and Central Arkansas (Sept. 22).

The Horned Frogs will play four of their first five Big 12 contests away from home. The stretch begins Sept. 27 at Texas. An Oct. 4 meeting at Texas Tech is followed by the Frogs' first home league contest on Oct. 6 against Oklahoma State. TCU's final road conference games come on Oct. 11 at Kansas and Oct. 13 at West Virginia.

Three straight home games will conclude the regular season. First up will be Oklahoma on Oct. 18. TCU will host Iowa State on Oct. 25 before closing out the regular season on Nov. 1 against Baylor.

Postseason play begins Nov. 6 at the Big 12 Tournament. A change of venue highlights this year's tournament as the top eight teams will head north to Sporting Park in Kansas City, Mo.
