FORT WORTH, Texas - With the 2008 season only about a month away, GoFrogs.com recently sat down with TCU forward Jackie Torda to get her thoughts on the Horned Frogs in 2008.

What are you doing this summer for the upcoming season?
"I have been playing with a U-19 summer league team that is competing in the US-Youth Soccer Championship series. After winning the state cup, we spent a week in North Carolina competing against the other teams in our region. It has been a great way for me to stay in shape and nothing beats playing games against the top teams from each state."

What do you expect this season from the team?
"I expect a lot of good things from the team this season. I'm not one to talk about accomplishments or things before they happen, but I think everyone involved in the program has high expectations."

What are your goals for the upcoming season, both individually and for the team?
"Individually, I hope to improve my communication both on and off the field. As far as the team goes, I would just like to see us come together and play good soccer. I know we are capable of it and to keep doing it consistently would be a great accomplishment."

What do you like to do off the field?
"I love to swim, go out to sushi dinner, travel and hang out with the team. Basically, I just like to have a good time in whatever I do."

If you could be on a television show for one day, what would it be and why?
"I would probably like to be on Ace of Cakes because I love to watch all the cakes they make and see how they come together and always look so cool. The other television show would probably be CSI Miami because I love the beach and the whole mystery aspect really intrigues me."

Who is you favorite soccer player and why?
"My favorite soccer player would probably be Cristiano Ronaldo because he is such a great player."

If you could play any sport other then soccer, what would it be and why?
"If I could play any other sport it would probably be volleyball, mainly because I think it's exciting and fun to watch. Unlike soccer, there is a lot of scoring in each game and it's so exciting to be a part of. I would also like to play football because it is such a huge sport and I think scoring a touchdown or just knocking someone down would be the coolest feeling."

How excited are you for this season?
"I can't even put into words about how excited I am for this season. It will be great to be back at the stadium, wearing my purple No. 19 jersey."
