FORT WORTH, Texas - With the 2008 season only about a month away, GoFrogs.com recently sat down with TCU senior defender Caroline Starns to get her thoughts on the Horned Frogs in 2008.

What are you doing this summer for the upcoming season?
"This summer I have been playing on a women's premier league team with Sara Schneider, Michelle Nguyen, Kelly Faerber and Jackie Torda. There are a lot of other college players that live around the metroplex that play as well."

What do you expect this season from the team?
"I expect a lot from our team this season. Last season we were quite young, but this year I am excited for the sophomores to really come out and play well because they have a year of experience under their belt. I also expect a lot from the newcomers coming in. They expected a lot from us when I was a freshman and I think it's a good feeling for people to expect you to do well. It makes you work hard."

What do you like to do off the field?
"I like to hang out with my friends and family. I also like to just sit out in the backyard and talk."

If you could be on a television show for one day, what would it be and why?
"I want to be the host of America's Funniest Home Videos. I think it's the funniest show on the universe and my whole house loves to watch it. I know my Dad would love to see me on it because we always watched it together growing up."

Who is you favorite soccer player and why?
"My favorite soccer player is Christiano Ronaldo because his skills are awesome. He is such a great player."

If you could play any sport other then soccer, what would it be and why?
"If I was taller, I would want to play volleyball. I like to watch the TCU girls and I played in high school, I just wasn't that good at it. Overall, I like the sport and its fun."

How excited are you for this season?
"I can't wait for this upcoming season. I was excited for it on the way home from BYU after our last loss. I just cant wait to show everyone how ready and willing we are to work hard to win."
