Road Swing Continues at Arkansas

FORT WORTH -  Soccer's four-game road trip to open the season continues Sunday night with a tilt at Arkansas. The game will be televised on SEC Network+ or the Watch ESPN app at 6 p.m.

TCU suffered a 2-0 setback in its season-opener at Missouri on Friday night. The Tigers scored a goal early in each half and held on for the victory. Making her third career start, Courtney Hofer had seven saves in the game.

Arkansas won its season-opener easily, taking a 4-1 victory over Stephen F. Austin Friday night. Gabriella DeLeon was the offensive star with two goals in the contest. In goal, Jordan Harris and Cameron Carter split the game. Carter surrender the lone goal for the Razorbacks.

TCU leads the all-time series against Arkansas 6-1-2, including a 3-0-1 mark in Fayetteville. The series dates back to a pair of meetings in 1986. TCU won those two meetings by a combined score of 14-1. TCU won the last meeting 2-1 in double overtime in Fort Worth on Sept. 15, 2013. The meeting marked the first between the programs since the 2000 season. Arkansas’ lone win in the series was a 2-1 victory on Sept. 5, 1997 in Fort Worth.
