FORT WORTH - The TCU women's soccer team will wrap up its season-opening road trip Sunday afternoon at Idaho. Kick time is set for 3 p.m. (CT).

The Horned Frogs suffered a 3-0 defeat to Washington State in their opening game of the 2014 season Friday night. TCU had to wait out a three hour rain/lightning delay to get the season underway.

A starting line-up that featured seven freshman outshot a Washington State team that was receiving votes in the preseason polls, 17-15. Eryn Spencer led the Frogs with four shots. In goal, Courtney Hofer collected 10 saves.

Idaho dropped a 2-1 overtime decision at Seattle in its season-opener. The Vandals are under the direction of a new head coach, Garrett Pittman.

Similar to the Horned Frogs, the Vandals allowed a penalty kick goal to give their opponent an early 1-0 lead in the match. Alyssa Pease scored the equalizer in the 28th minute off a corner kick. Five minutes into overtime, the Redhawks won the game. In goal sophomore, Torrell Stewart made four saves on six shots.
