FORT WORTH - The TCU soccer team continues Big 12 play Friday night when they head to Lubbock for a match-up against No. 14 Texas Tech. The Horned Frogs are 1-0-2 against teams ranked in the Top 25 this season.

In its conference opener, TCU saw its three match unbeaten streak come to an end with a 2-0 loss at Texas Friday night. TCU was held off the scoreboard for the fourth time this season. The Horned Frog defense limited Texas to just four shots on goal. TCU is allowing just 5.6 shots on goal this season.

Lauren Sajewich is the lone Horned Frog this season to have played all 1,043 minutes. Makenzie Koch ranks 46th nationally with her five assists this season. She continues to be an integral part of the offense. She has taken part in nine of TCU's 14 goals this season.

ABOUT TEXAS TECH
Texas Tech is unbeaten in its last eight games played and opened up conference play with a 2-1 win over Iowa State and a 0-0 tie against Oklahoma State. The Red Raiders are ranked in the top 15 of all four major polls. Long Beach State is the lone squad to have handed Texas Tech a loss this season.

Janine Beckie is the leading offensive threat for the Red Raiders with six goals and two assists. She paces the team with three game-winning goals. In goal, Victoria Esson has dominated in helping Texas Tech tally 9 shutouts in the first 12 games of the season. Her 0.42 goals against ranks 16th nationally.

SERIES HISTORY
TCU and Texas Tech have met 20 times on the pitch. The Horned Frogs own an 11-6-3 series lead and are 5-3-1 in contests played in Lubbock. Texas Tech has owned the series recently, going 3-0-1 in the last four meetings.

The Horned Frogs and the Red Raiders have met on the pitch each of the last 10 seasons. TCU is 5-4-1 in that stretch. In their first meeting as conference foes since 1996, TCU and Texas Tech played to a 1-1 draw in Fort Worth last year.
