TCU Welcomes Oklahoma State Sunday

FORT WORTH - The TCU women's soccer team returns home to host Oklahoma State in Big 12 soccer action. Game time is set for 1 p.m. The match will air live on FSSW.

The Horned Frogs (4-6-2, 0-2-0) dropped a 2-0 decision at No. 14 Texas Tech on Friday night. The Red Raiders scored a pair of first half goals and limited the Frogs to just four shots in the match. In goal, Vittoria Arnold made four saves, while Morgan Lane and Michelle Mottonen were the lone Frogs to test Red Raider goalkeeper, Victoria Esson.

The Cowgirls (5-3-4, 1-1-1) gave up an early goal to Oklahoma Friday night, but rallied back for the 2-1 double overtime victory over the Sooners. Natalie Calhoun tied the game with less than five minutes to go in the match and Allie Stephenson won it for OSU with just 46 seconds remaining in the second overtime. In goal, Michela Ongaro made one saves and faced just six shots in the match.

Sunday's meeting will be the sixth in the series. Oklahoma State leads the series 3-1-1. This season marks the fourth straight year the squads will meet on the soccer pitch. OSU is 2-0-1 in that stretch. The Cowgirls are making their third appearance in Fort Worth. They have won the previous two times in Fort Worth. TCU and OSU played to a 3-3 tie in Stillwater last year in its first meeting as conference foes.
