FORT WORTH, Texas (Oct. 10) - After leading 3-0 in the first period, TCU overcame a tie at the end of regulation to win over Tulsa, 4-2 in the first overtime.

It appeared the Frogs got the win just 1:30 into the first overtime period when a shot by Rogers' found the back of the net, but the shot was called back after Rogers was called offsides. Freshman forward Alecia Grieshaber (North Richland Hills, Texas/Richland HS) tapped in the game winner about four minutes later.
We were very disappointed to give up three goals, but you have to give the girls credit for not giving up and knowing they could win, said head coach David Rubinson.
TCU evens its WAC record to 1-1 and moves to 8-6 overall, while Tulsa drops to 6-6, 0-2 WAC.
The Frogs travel to California this weekend to face San Jose State on Friday and Fresno State on Sunday. TCU returns to the TCU Soccer Complex Wednesday, Oct. 20, when they host SMU at 4 p.m. at the TCU Soccer Complex.
