Frogs Wrap Up Road Swing At Oklahoma

FORT WORTH - The TCU women's soccer team will wrap up a season-long three match road swing Sunday afternoon at Oklahoma. The game will be televised on FSSW. First kick is set for 1 p.m.

TCU had been unbeaten in its last five road matches (4-0-1) before dropping a tough 1-0 decision at Oklahoma State on Friday night. The Cowgirls scored the game-winner in the 36th minute. Vittoria Arnold made six stops in the loss, while Patry Carrion and Michelle Prokof led the offensive attack with two shots apiece.

The Frogs enter Sunday's match searching for their first conference victory. TCU is 7-5-2 overall and 0-2-2 in Big 12 play. The Frogs are led offensively by Emma Heckendorn and Kela Gray's four goals, while Bobbi Clemmer leads with four assists.

Oklahoma's Big 12 home opener against Baylor was canceled after one half of play due to inclement weather. The Sooners had a 1-0 lead on a goal by Madeline Brem before the game was called.

The Sooners have been in and out of the top 25 this season and are currently receiving votes with a record of 8-3-2 overall. They are 2-0 in conference play with a pair of road victories at Iowa State and No. 10 Texas Tech. Offensively they are led by Devin Barrett's four goals and one assist. In goal, Kaitlyn Fahrner boasts a 0.67 goals against average.
