FORT WORTH - The TCU women's soccer team continues their three-match homestand Friday night when they play host to Iowa State. Match time against the Cyclones at Garvey-Rosenthal is set for 7 p.m.

The Horned Frogs dropped a hard-fought 1-0 decision to Oklahoma last Friday night. It's the seventh time this season that TCU has been shutout. TCU fans came out in large numbers Friday as 1,986 patrons passed through the Garvey-Rosenthal gates. TCU ranks first in the Big 12 with an average of 1,170 fans per match.

Vittoria Arnold made six saves in the loss. She now has 160 saves in her career, moving her into fifth all-time. Kelly Johnson, Lauren Sajewich and Meghan Murphy are the lone Horned Frogs to have played in all 16 matches this season. Makenzie Koch ranks second in the Big 12 with the seven assists. Michelle Prokof continues to pace the squad with seven goals on the season. That mark ranks fourth in the league.

Iowa State enters the weekend in fourth place in the league standings with a 2-3-1 record in Big 12 play. The Cyclones have collected two straight league wins. They topped Oklahoma 4-1 in Norman and picked up a 1-0 overtime win against Baylor a week ago.

Emily Goldstein picked up a hat trick in the win over Oklahoma. She also notched the game-winner against Baylor, scoring with 23 seconds left in the first overtime. Goldstein leads the team with six goals on the season. Goalkeeper Maddie Jobe made eight saves in the win over Baylor to record her sixth shutout of the season. Jobe has played every minute in goal this season for the Cyclones. She leads the league with 82 saves and has posted a 1.31 goals against average.

Friday's meeting between Iowa State and TCU will be the third in the all-time series that dates back to the first meeting in 1998. The series is tied at a game apiece with both teams winning on their home field.

Iowa State took a 2-0 win over TCU last season as the teams met as conference foes for the first time. The contest was played on Oct. 5, 2012. TCU defeated Iowa State 2-1 in the only meeting in Fort Worth back on Sept. 27, 1998.
