FORT WORTH - TCU junior defender Bobbi Clemmer has been named third-team NSCAA/Continental Tire NCAA Division I Women's All-Central Region. She is the first Horned Frog since 2008 to earn recognition from the NSCAA.

Clemmer, a second-team All-Big 12 performer, was recognized for her defensive efforts in helping the Horned Frogs rack up six shutouts this season. TCU finished the campaign with a 0.96 goals against average, a mark that ranked sixth in the Big 12. She started all 19 games and played in all 1,772 minutes of action this season. Her four assists ranked second on the squad. Two of her six shots were on goal.

As a freshman, Clemmer earned a spot on the Big 12 All-Newcomer squad. She was a first-team honoree as a sophomore. Prior to the start of each of the last two seasons, Clemmer has been a preseason all-conference selection.

Jordan Calhoun in 2008 was recognized on the third team, becoming TCU's first honoree on the All-Central Region team.
