2011 Singles

2011-12 (SENIOR SEASON): Did not compete in the fall while rehabbing from shoulder surgery ... Returned for a strong spring while serving as the team captain ... Had a 14-6 mark in singles, including a 5-0 ledger against conference foes ... Opened the year on a three-match winning streak ... Scored TCU's lone point at No. 5 Baylor, a 7-5, 2-6, 1-0 (10) win over Megan Horter ... Dropped Abbi Melrose, 6-1, 6-3, while playing No. 4 at Oklahoma ... Earned Mountain West Player of the Week honors after win at Oklahoma ... Added a 6-4, 6-2 win over Vanessa Foltinger of Marquette ... Strung together a nine-match winning streak prior to the NCAA tournament ... All nine of those wins came via straight sets ... Was a 7-5, 6-3 winner at UNLV and a 6-4, 6-1 winner at Wyoming ... Rolled to a 6-0, 6-2 win over Leah Fried of Rice on her senior day ... Won both of her matches at the Mountain West tournament, helping the Frogs to the crown ... Opened the year in the No. 6 spot before working through injuries and up to as high as No. 2 ... Posted a 14-7 record in singles, including a 6-2 mark against MWC foes ... Strung together a seven-match winning streak at one point during the spring ... Knocked off Melissa Bolivar of third-ranked Miami, 6-4, 4-6, 1-0 (3) ... That win started her seven-match winning streak that also saw her better Jessia Jackson, 6-4, 1-6, 6-0 of No. 60 Rice, No. 59 UT-Arlington's Maria Martinez, 4-6, 7-6 (3), 1-0 (5) and No. 71 Utah's Lucia Kovarcikova, 6-3, 6-4 ... Scored the match-clinching point for TCU in the MWC Championship quarterfinal match against BYU with her 6-3, 6-4 triumph over Elle Carney ... In doubles, opened the year playing with Olivia Smith at Nos. 2 and 3 doubles ... Tandem went 6-8 overall and 2-1 against MWC opponents ... Picked up wins in conference play with an 8-5 triumph over Elizaveta Ezhova and Desiree Tran against BYU and an 8-1 win over Ashly Bonner and Anya Villanueva of New Mexico ... Began playing with Idunn Hertzberg late in the season ... That duo went 6-2 and 4-0 in the regular season against MWC opponents ... Won a dramatic 9-8 (5) decision over Jana Albers and Adrienn Hidvegi of UNLV to clinch the doubles point for TCU against the top-seeded Rebels ... Took down the 74th-ranked doubles duo, 8-2, in Alicia Aguilar an Julia Wais of San Diego State ... Named to the Academic All-Mountain West team and an ITA Scholar-Athlete

2009-10 (SOPHOMORE SEASON): Academic All-Mountain West and ITA Scholar-Athlete selection ... a regular in the Frogs' singles lineup ... played the majority of matches at the bottom spot where she found the most success, going 9-6 ... also played in the fifth position for nine matches, posting a 2-7 record ... was an impressive 4-1 during Mountain West play ... finished the season on a nine-match winning streak ... clinched TCU's 3-1 rally against Wyoming in the opening round of the Mountain West Championships with the match-deciding victory ... named the MWC Player of the Week the following week after the championships ... teamed with Idunn Hertzberg in doubles for an 11-8 record in the third position ... duo was solid in MWC play with a perfect 5-0 record ... tandem also finished the year with wins in the last matches paired together ... dropped her only match playing with Maria Babanova ... did not compete in the fall.

2008-09 (FRESHMAN SEASON): Posted an overall singles record of 18-14, including a 12-12 mark during the spring schedule ... played in all but the top two spots ... delivered the match-clinching victory against Wyoming and Colorado State ... six of her final seven wins were in straight sets ... had an overall doubles record of 19-9, including a 12-7 clip during the spring ... enjoyed a 8-4 doubles ledger with partner Maria Babanova from the No. 3 position ... the tandem ended the season on a four-match winning streak together ... had an impressive start to her collegiate career, opening with a 6-2 singles record in the fall ... defeated players from Georgia and Wake Forest at the Bulldog Invitational ... defeated a Texas player to advance to the round of 16 at the Wilson/ITA Southwest Regional Championships ... turned in a 7-2 doubles record ... alongside partner Kayla Duncan, the swept through the Bulldog Invitational with four wins over teams from Wake Forest, Indiana and Virginia ... the duo advanced into the round of 16 at the Wilson/ITA Southwest Regional Championships.

Personal: Mastromarino is the daughter of Tom and Julie Mastromarino ... has an older sister, Jennifer, and a younger brother, Eric ... a psychology major with a criminal justice minor ... her father was a Division II All-American at Mount St. Mary's University in 1981...he is a 5-time national singles champion, and 4-time national doubles champion and was inducted into the Hall of Fame at Mount St. Mary's in 1992 ...
