FORT WORTH, Texas – TCU’s women’s tennis team posted a strong 4-1 win over UCF Friday at the indoor facility at Bayard H. Friedman Tennis Center.

The Horned Frogs (7-5) were able to win the doubles point and grab three singles points while only surrendering one to the Knights. Both No. 123 Aleksa Cveticanin and Marie Norris were undefeated on the day. Cveticanin closed out the match with a 4-6, 6-1, 6-3 win over Maria Martinez in No. 2 singles.

Quotes from the Match Head Coach Lee Taylor Walker
"What a big win for our team. I’m so proud of the girls for responding from last Sunday's tough loss with such poise and determination. UCF is a great team and is only going to get better year after year. We had some things really go our way today and I'm encouraged the girls were able to take advantage of it all. We are a good team. We need to keep working on our inner belief and tactics at tight situations. Sometimes it's just a matter of believing that regular stuff is good enough. Other times it's about raising our level and adapting at the right time. These are our focuses as we continue to improve this season."
