FORT WORTH, Texas - The TCU women's tennis team completed competition on day one of the Metroplex Mania at the Waranch Tennis Complex at the University of North Texas.

The Horned Frogs earned one doubles victory and two singles victory for the day, while only posting one loss.

Millie Nichols and Seda Arantekin started off the day with an 8-5 doubles win over Dan Joubrt and Agustina Valnzuela of North Texas.

Nichols and Arantekin continued their winning ways into the singles competition, as Nichols won a 6-1, 7-5 matchup over Dasha Sharapova of SMU, while Arantekin defeated Yana Erkeeva of SMU 6-2, 6-3.

TCU's only loss of the day was Hanna Victorrson, who dropped her singles match to Hristina Dishkova of SMU 6-0, 4-6, 6-1.

The Frogs will continue action at the tournament by playing SMU in doubles action starting at 11:30 a.m. and facing off against UTA in singles play at 12:30 p.m.
