FORT WORTH – TennisRecruiting.net has ranked TCU’s women’s tennis class as the 18th-best in the country and third best in the Big 12.

The ranking marks the first time TCU has had a top-20 ranked class since 2006, which was head coach Dave Borelli’s final year in his first stint with the TCU women. In the fall signing period, Borelli added Seda Arantekin of Turkey and Hanna Victorsson of Sweden.

“I’m pleased with the ranking and where we are at in recruiting,” Borelli said. “We’ve still got one more to sign and I think it will move us up to a top-10 caliber class. Some of the classes ranked ahead of us are already complete.”

With the addition of just two in the final signing period, TCU has one more scholarship available as it looks to replace three departed scholarship seniors following the 2013 season. The spring signing period for tennis opens April 17.
