FORT WORTH - After matches at Houston and Rice, TCU's women's tennis team gets back into Big 12 action Wednesday when it travels to Baylor for a 5 p.m. matchup.

The 42nd-ranked Horned Frogs are 12-2 on the year and 2-0 in Big 12 matches. TCU fell 5-2 to Rice last Sunday for its first loss since Feb. 2. No. 34 Baylor is 7-11, 2-0 and dropped a 4-3 decision to Miami on March 23 in its last match.

TCU and Baylor are meeting for the 31st time with the Frogs holding a 17-13 edge in the series. The Bears, though, have won the last seven matchups, including a 6-1 win a year ago in Waco. TCU is 7-7 all-time in Waco and is playing its third of four-straight matches against a former Southwest Conference opponent.

Senior Olivia Smith is 10-1 this spring and ranked 75th in the ITA singles rankings. At Rice last Sunday, she dropped her first match of the season. No. 71 Stefanie Tan is 9-4 this spring, while Simona Parajova is 10-4.

In doubles, TCU's top duo of Millie Nichols and Smith is 8-2 on the spring and ranked 47th. Kelsey Sundaram and Tan have played at No. 2 as of late, as have Parajova and Monika Sirilova. Those tandems are 2-1 and 1-2, respectively.

Ema Burgic leads the Bears in singles, checking in at 10th in the ITA singles rankings. At No. 120, Victoria Kisialeva is also ranked among the nation's top 125. The duo also makes up the nation's 29th-ranked doubles team.
