FORT WORTH TCU student-athletes Boomer White and Stefanie Tan have been earned Muscle Milk Athletes of the Week honors for their recent performances.

White, a sophomore outfielder on the baseball team, recently increased his batting average to .376, which ranks second in the Big 12. The Houston, Texas native helped lead the Frogs to their first-ever Big 12 series sweep over West Virginia. Offensively, TCU hit .343, while on defense, the Frogs committed just two errors for a .982 fielding percentage.

The Frogs will finish the series against Dallas Baptist University Tuesday night. Their next seven games will be away from Brown Lupton Stadium.

Tan, a junior on the women's tennis team, moved up in the singles national rankings to No. 50 after going 2-0 last week. The Singapore native opened the week with a win over No. 34 Kiah Generette and closed the week by being one of only two Frogs to win in singles at Texas Tech. Tan came back from being a set down to Kenna Kilgo to win in three sets in Lubbock on Saturday. She is one of only two members of the team to have a double digit record in singles dual matches of 13-3, while also posting a 5-2 record in conference play.

TCU will return home for its final two home matches of the 2013-2014 season. The Frogs will host Kansas State on April 11 at 2 p.m., and Kansas on April 13 at 10 a.m. TCU will take two weeks off before hosting the Big 12 Championships on April 24-27.
