FORT WORTH - TCU women's tennis junior Stefanie Tan was named to the 2014 Capital One Academic All-District Women's At-Large Team for District 7, as announced by the College Sports Information Directors of America (CoSIDA) on Thursday.

A two-time All-Big 12 Academic First Team selection, Tan graduated this month with a 3.93 GPA and a degree in finance and will use her fourth year of eligibility to obtain her MBA from TCU. The All-American from Singapore will compete next week for the second year in a row in the singles competition at the NCAA Championships in Athens, Ga.

This season, Tan was ranked as high as No. 30 in the ITA singles poll and finished the regular season with a 31-8 record. Tan faced 18 ranked opponents at No. 1 singles and posted 11 wins over those opponents. The Singapore native recorded a 16-4 record on court one in dual matches and finished off the season going 7-1. Tan lost only two conference matches and was runner up for the No. 1 singles title in the Big 12.
