FORT WORTH, Texas – All-American Stefanie Tan and Simona Parajova earned spots in the preseason ITA College Tennis Rankings.

Tan, who became TCU’s first singles All-American player since 2009, checks in at No. 30, which is the fourth highest single ranking in the Big 12. Tan finished this past season with a 24-11 record, All-Big 12 honors and a trip to the Sweet 16 at the NCAA Championships.

Parajova posted a 7-2 mark in Big 12 regular season play to win the Big 12 No. 3 singles title last season. She had six straight victories in Big 12 play at the No. 3 position and led the team with a singles record of 16-6 and an overall record of 21-9.

Tan earned a spot in the main singles draw at the Riviera/ITA All-American Championships to be played in Pacific Palisades, Calif., on Sept. 28-Oct. 6., while Parajova earned a spot in the qualifying singles draw.

TCU opens the fall season with the Midland Racket Club Invitational on Sept 13-15 in Midland, Texas.
