Quotes of the Match
TCU Director of Volleyball Jill Kramer
Opening Statement
"Your first week of volleyball that you play can be telling about a few things. For us, the one thing that we did often throughout the weekend was that we worked through some issues that we would see and we would make adjustments. This team is comfortable in situations where they are down and it is kind of cool because they have a little bit of fight in them. I feel like we learned that about our team this weekend. They stuck together regardless of what was going on the court.

"Rice came in and they played hard. They have a lot going on at home and I know a lot of things those kids are dealing with right now. They played great volleyball and they did a really great job of putting everything in the back of their minds and competing hard. They will be very good in league play this year. It was a great weekend all around for our team and there were lots of things that we learned. We are going to get back at it this week in the gym."
