Quotes of the Match
TCU Director of Volleyball Jill Kramer
Opening Statement
"I think playing this match against San Diego State was good for us. They are a formidable opponent who played great defense against us. We had to mix up what we were doing and move the ball around really well to score. I think their outside hitters really started to pick apart our defense, so this match for us was the first time that we had to make true adjustments this season during the match, which I thought the team did a really good job of that.

"In the first set, we were a little out of sorts and out of system for whatever reason. I don't know if it was because they made us do some things that we weren't used, but we were out of system a little more and once we fixed that up, we were in a good place. Two things that were really impressive to me and our team was, in the first set at the end, Jillian Bergeson just absolutely put the team on her back and just ran with it. She did a good job there. There were two times where we were in tight situations that we weren't used to and there was a lot of trust there between our team that really pulled them together. They played together and they really went after it, which is what you want to see."
