Quotes of the Match
TCU Director of Volleyball Jill Kramer
Opening Statement
"We came a little slow tonight, but what was great was to see our team recover, have confidence in their abilities and one another and pull through that first set. It was a close one. For them to come back and play so much more disciplined in the second and third sets was great. The one thing that we have to shore up a little bit is our serving. We missed a ton of serves and that really didn't go away. That needs to be better and we get another opportunity to do that tomorrow against SMU.

On rebounding in the second and third set after the slow start
"I think we just played more disciplined. We passed a little bit better where we could run our offense. We were passing the ball very low at the beginning of the match in the first set. They could get our offense going once they actually passed the ball a little bit better and then Lamprini (Konstantinidou) and Kaylee (Smith) did a good job of distributing the ball."

-TCU improves to 6-2 overall this season and 4-0 in home matches in 2016
-The match tonight was the ninth meeting all-time with TCU improving to 6-3 in the series record with Sam Houston State
-The win marks win No. 91 in Jill Kramer's head coaching career
-The .340 hitting percentage by the team was the fourth time this season and second straight match that TCU has hit above .300
-Regan McGuire led the team for the third straight match with 11 kills and it was the third time this season she has recorded double-digit kills
-The senior also led the team in blocks for the fifth time this season and second straight match with seven
-McGuire has totaled double-digit kills on 11 occasions in her career and five plus blocks 29 times
-Jillian Bergeson led the team in digs for the third time this season and finished with double-digit digs for the 58th time in her career
