Quotes of the Match
TCU Director of Volleyball Jill Kramer
"At the beginning of sets, we did a really good job. Then we would let Iowa State get on a roll offensively a little bit and they did a good job once they got on a roll. We did some really uncharacteristic things and our out-of-system plays are typically much better. I thought we could have been a lot more aggressive offensively at times in the first and second sets. When we came back for the third set, I thought our mentality was a lot better and we played really aggressive and that did a lot for us. It was the same in the fourth and that was really hard fought and another close one. The team did fight really hard, but it was just a little bit too little too late. We need to get better at being consistent throughout the duration of a match."
