FORT WORTH - TCU's volleyball team fell in three sets (25-21, 25-20, 25-21) to Baylor on Wednesday evening in front of 1,378 fans inside the TCU University Recreation Center.

The Horned Frogs slipped to 14-12 and 3-10 in the Big 12 with the loss, while Baylor improved to 19-10 and 6-8. For the second-straight match against the Bears, freshman Sutton Sunstrum led the Frogs in digs.

The match's opening frame saw the teams go back and forth for the first 20 points, playing to a 10-all tie. Baylor won the next four points of the match, only to see TCU knot the set again at 18. In the set of runs, Baylor won four of the next five points and held on for a 25-21 set one win.

Yvonne Igodan continued her hot play from the previous week, knocking down five kills on nine attacks, while chipping in a solo block and blocking assist. TCU out dug the Bears 23-17 in the set with Sutton Sunstrum grabbing six.

TCU led the second set at 1-0 and 2-1 before Baylor won the next five points and never gave the lead back to the Frogs. TCU battled back to tie the match at nine, 11 and 18, but Baylor took a 2-0 lead into the break with a 25-20 set two win.

Much like the first set, the third set saw the score tie on seven occasions and the lead change hands four times. TCU led by as many as three at 12-9 and 14-11. The Frogs led 16-14 before BU scored six of the next eight for a 20-18 lead. The Frogs got within one three times, but the Bears finished out a 3-0 win with a 25-21 set three win.

Sloan Sunstrum and Stephanie Holland totaled three kills in the set, while Megan Munce, Igodan and Macy Capen chipped in a pair each. Sutton Sunstrum continued the defensive work for the Frogs, collecting six digs.

Igodan led the Frogs in kills for the third-straight match, totaling eight on 24 attacks. Sloane Sunstrum added seven kills and 11 digs, while Sutton Sunstrum grabbed 16 digs to go alon with three kills.

TCU returns to action Saturday when it hosts No. 22 Kansas. First serve is set for 1 p.m. at the University Rec Center.
