Final Stats

LUBBOCK, Texas - Trailing 10-8 in the fifth set, the TCU volleyball team used a strong serving performance to come back and score seven straight points on their way to a 3-2 (26-28, 26-24, 25-23, 23-25, 15-10) victory at Texas Tech on Saturday night inside the United Supermarkets Arena

After splitting the first four sets, the Horned Frogs (13-12, 6-9 Big 12) used two aces from Regan McGuire to take a 4-1 lead to start the fifth set with the Red Raiders (10-20, 0-15 Big 12). Quotes of the Match
TCU Director of Volleyball Jill Kramer
Opening Statement
"I am really proud of our team for sticking with it tonight. This Texas Tech team is a really darn good team. They are playing really good defense right now. For where they are at in their season, they are actually playing with a ton of confidence. Tony (Graystone) has done a great job with that. I was really impressed with their play. This was a hard fought win by our team. The crowd here was really into it and Texas Tech is always a tough place to play because their fans get pretty rowdy and rambunctious. I am proud of our team because this was a really tough road win for us to get and they worked hard for it."
