Jill Kramer Volleyball Camps at TCU

FORT WORTH, Texas -- TCU volleyball's series of summer camps are fast approaching, with 15 different camps taking place from June 9-July 26 at the University Recreation Center.

The Horned Frog summer camps are open to all skill levels in the age ranges of 1st-12th grade students, who are looking to learn the fundamentals of the game or improve their skills to prepare for the next level of competition.

"Our volleyball camps will have a place for every level of player," director of volleyball Jill Kramer said. "Some will be much more technically oriented by position, some will be for beginners and others will be for a entire teams. We want every camper to get the experience that they want, learn from our staff and players and have loads of fun being the best they can be in each training session."

Kramer and the rest of the TCU volleyball coaching staff will be on hand to work with all the participants, along with current and former TCU student-athletes. Those interested can register at TCUVolleyball.com

All Day Train & Play (June 9-10)
Grades 1-9
This clinic will focus on training the fundamental skills of volleyball through detailed technical progressions. Playing opportunities and competing will also be a major component of this camp. Athletes will be split in to groups based on both age and skill level to give the best camp experience to all athletes. Our goal is to improve knowledge of the skills and provide multiple quality repetitions to improve the athlete's confidence on the court!

Elite Day Camp (June 11)
Grades 8-12
The elite day camp is designed for players with experience that have a strong desire to work hard and be great. Athletes should be prepared to have an intense camp experience. This camp will focus on advanced skills and concepts with a focus on perfecting athletes' technique in a fast paced multiple quality repetition environment. Athletes will be split in to groups based on both age and skill level to give the best camp experience to all athletes.

Hitting: Approach, Jump & Arm Swing (June 15)
Grades 5-12
This clinic teaches hitting technique through progression while providing multiple quality repetitions. Athletes may be split in to groups based on both age and skill level to give the best camp experience to all athletes.

Setting: Footwork, Hands & Concepts (June 15)
Grades 6-12
This clinic teaches setting technique through progression while providing multiple quality repetitions. Athletes may be split in to groups based on both age and skill level to give the best camp experience to all athletes.

Consistent & Aggressive Serving (June 15)
Grades 4-12
This clinic teaches the proper technique needed to have a consistent & aggressive serve. Athletes may be split in to groups based on both age and skill level to give the best camp experience to all athletes.

Defense: Passing, Digging & Serve-Receive (June 15)
Grades 5-12
This clinic teaches passing, digging & serve-receive technique through progression while providing multiple quality repetitions. Athletes may be split in to groups based on both age and skill level to give the best camp experience to all athletes.

All Skills Training Camp (June 16-18)
Grades 5-12
This clinic will focus on teaching the fundamental skills of volleyball through detailed technical progressions. Athletes will be split in to groups based on both age and skill level to give the best camp experience to all athletes. Our goal is to improve knowledge of the skills and provide multiple quality repetitions to improve the athlete's confidence on the court!

Grades 8-12
This clinic focuses on perfecting setting technique through multiple quality repetitions. Athletes will also discuss advanced setting concepts, which may include scouting an opponent and developing an offensive game plan for each opponent. Athletes may be split in to groups based on both age and skill level to give the best camp experience to all athletes.

Consistent & Aggressive Serving (July 9)
Grades 4-12
This clinic teaches the proper technique needed to have a consistent & aggressive serve. Athletes may be split in to groups based on both age and skill level to give the best camp experience to all athletes.

Libero School: Everything Back Row! (July 9)
Grades 6-12
This clinic teaches passing, digging & serve-receive technique through progression while providing multiple quality repetitions. Advanced defensive concepts and techniques will also be taught. Athletes may be split in to groups based on both age and skill level to give the best camp experience to all athletes.

Advanced Camp Elite Skills Training (July 11-13)
Grades 7-12
The advanced camp is designed for players with experience that have a strong desire to work hard and be great. Athletes should be prepared to have an intense camp experience and a desire to learn advanced systems and concepts.

This camp will focus on advanced skills, systems and concepts with a focus on perfecting athletes' technique in a fast paced multiple quality repetition environment. Athletes will be split in to groups based on both age and skill level to give the best camp experience to all athletes.

All Day Train & Play (July 14-15)
Grades 1-9

Team Camp (July 17-19)
For High School Teams
This clinic will focus on getting your team ready for the season! Game-like situations, opportunities to compete, team bonding and team system training will be the major focuses of TEAM camp at TCU!

Train Hard Play to Win All Skills Training (July 24-26)
Grades 5-12
This clinic will focus on learning the game through PLAY! It is similar to the All Skills camp in that it will focus on teaching the fundamental skills of volleyball through detailed technical progressions. Game-like situations and opportunities to compete will be incorporated in to almost every session! Athletes will be split in to groups based on both age and skill level to give the best camp experience to all athletes. Our goal is to improve knowledge of the skills and provide multiple quality repetitions to improve the athlete's confidence on the court!
