FORT WORTH, Texas - A total of 13 matches against top 50 RPI teams, 14 home contests and 13 matches against 2015 NCAA tournament teams highlight the 2016 TCU women's volleyball schedule, as announced by Director of Volleyball Jill Kramer on Wednesday.

For the second straight season, the Horned Frogs will open the season at home by hosting NC State and RPI top 50 opponents, Arkansas State and Boise State from Aug. 26-28. The tournament will be held inside the Rickel and the meetings with the three opponents will mark the first for TCU under the helm of Kramer.

The month of September will feature two straight tournaments on the road for TCU, as the team will head to North Carolina to face Duke in Durham for the first time in program history on Sept. 2, before traveling the 14 miles down the road to face UNC on Sept 3 in Chapel Hill. The Frogs will then use the next weekend to travel to Omaha, Neb., to face-off with two first-time opponents in 2015 NCAA Tournament Sweet 16 participant Creighton and Chattanooga from Sept. 9-10.

Tournament action will conclude with a final home tournament, where TCU will welcome Metroplex rival and 2015 NCAA participant SMU, as well as Sam Houston State and UNC for a second match-up this season from Sept. 15-17 at the Rickel.

Big 12 action will begin at home for the first time since 2013, as a midweek matchup with Texas Tech is set for Wednesday, Sept. 21. The team will then return to the road for two straight matches as they are set to travel to Iowa State (Sept. 24) and West Virginia (Sept. 28) to wrap-up the month.

A home match against Oklahoma on Oct. 1 will open the month, as the team will then take to the road for two matches against Baylor (Oct. 5) and Kansas State (Oct. 8) before receiving their first bye of the conference season.

The Frogs return to action with a match against 2015 Final Four participant Kansas at home on Oct. 15 and will also welcome Iowa State (Oct. 22) before the month is over. October also features two more road matches, as the team will travel to Austin to face 2015 NCAA runner-up Texas (Oct. 19) and will wrap-up the home-and-home series with Oklahoma in Norman on Oct. 29.

November opens at home for a two-match home stand, as the team is set to welcome the Longhorns on Nov. 2, before facing Kansas State on Nov. 5 inside the Rickel. The team will then take its final bye of the conference season before taking a quick trip to Lawrence, Kan., to meet up with the Jayhawks on Nov. 12.

Baylor will make its way to Fort Worth for a showdown on Nov. 16 and then the team will take one final road trip over to Lubbock to face Texas Tech on Saturday, Nov. 19. TCU returns home one final time for Senior Day, as the Frogs are set to take on West Virginia on Wednesday, Nov. 23.

Season tickets for the TCU volleyball season will go on sale Friday, July 1. Adult season tickets are $75, youth season tickets are $50 and a Family 4-pack of season tickets can be purchased for $200. Single game tickets can be bought starting Monday, August 15, with fans able to purchase adult tickets for $10, youth tickets for $5 and $3 tickets for groups of 20 or more. All tickets to the home matches against Texas (Nov. 2) and Baylor (Nov. 16) will be $10.
