VB to Host Texas A&M in Exhibition Match

FORT WORTH, Texas -- For the first time in program history, the TCU volleyball team will host a preseason exhibition match as the Horned Frogs will welcome Texas A&M to The Rickel inside the University Recreation Center on Saturday, Aug. 19. First serve is slated for 2 p.m., and admission is free.
The Frogs return 11 letterwinners and four starters from a season ago where the team advanced to its second straight NCAA tournament. Joining the returners will be six newcomers who make up the 2017 class that was ranked No. 24 by Prepvolleyball.com to mark the second straight top-25 recruiting class under the helm of Director of Volleyball Jill Kramer.
Following the scrimmage, TCU will kick-off the season at home for the third straight season with the Cowtown Classic as they welcome UTSA on Friday, Aug. 25 at 6 p.m., before taking on Coastal Carolina on Saturday, Aug. 26 at 5 p.m. The Frogs will also face Rice on Sunday, Aug. 27 at 2 p.m.
Season tickets for the TCU volleyball season are on sale. Adult season tickets are $75, youth season tickets are $50 and a Family 4-pack of season tickets can be purchased for $240. Single game tickets are also available, with fans able to purchase adult tickets for $10, youth tickets for $5 and $3 tickets for groups of 20 or more. All tickets to the home matches against Baylor (Sept. 23) and Texas (Oct. 8) will be $10 and no group tickets will be available.
