FORT WORTH, Texas - The TCU volleyball team will kick-off the second half of Big 12 Conference action on Thursday, Oct. 26 as they welcome West Virginia to The Rickel inside the University Recreation Center for a 7 p.m. showdown.

The match between the Horned Frogs (9-11, 1-7 Big 12) and the Mountaineers (14-7, 3-5 Big 12) will air live on GoFrogs.com through FrogVision with a CBS Sports All-Access subscription.

Fans are encouraged to wear a costume for the match with Halloween Trick-or-Treating taking place before the match as well as a costume contest where the winner will receive a $50 gift card to Mr. Gatti's Pizza.

Clear Bag Policy
Only the following items will be permitted upon entrance into TCU athletics facilities:
-Bags that are clear plastic, vinyl or PVC and not exceeding 14 inches by 14 inches
-One-gallon clear plastic freezer bag (Ziploc bag or similar)
-One unopened bottle of water
-Small clutch bags with or without a handle or strap can be taken into the venue with one of the clear plastic bags
-The Small clutch bags must be approximately the size of a hand 
-Exceptions will be made for medically necessary items after proper inspection at stadium/arena gates
-Backpacks, diaper bags and other similar bags will not be allowed

Tickets
Tickets for the action on Thursday will be available for purchase at the TCU Ticket Office located inside the Rec Center. Adult tickets will be priced at $10 and youth tickets available for $5. For more ticket information, please call the ticket office at 817-257-FROG.

TCU Quick Hits
-This season marks the third under the helm of alumni and Director of Volleyball Jill (Pape) Kramer 
-Kramer (1996-99) was the first scholarship volleyball player on the inaugural team in 1996 and still holds the single-season and career school records in kills and total attacks 
-Kramer has led TCU to back-to-back appearances in the NCAA tournament, has totaled over 100 career wins in her coaching career and was recently inducted into the TCU Lettermen Hall of Fame 
-TCU is now 9-11 on the season and is kicking-off the first half of Big 12 play by welcoming West Virginia 
-In the fourth RPI of the season, TCU checks in at No. 78 with the 19th best schedule in the country 
-The Horned Frogs are a young team with eight of the current nine true or redshirt freshmen having seen action this season 
-True freshmen Dani Dennison, Sarah Swanson and Berklie Baker have appeared in every match this season 
-The TCU offense has been a balanced attack this season with the rotation of pin hitters who are all hitting over 2.00 kills per set 
-Ashleigh Martin has started a `Marty Party' this year as the junior is putting down 2.68 kills per set and double-digit kills in nine matches this season 
-Anna Walsh is becoming one of the most efficient hitters in the Big 12 as the junior hit above .300 in eight of the last 14 matches and 10 matches this season 
-Walsh has put down double-digit kills in 11 matches this season and leads the team in Big 12 only match with 3.15 kills per set and .282 hitting clip 
-The junior is also being defensive at the net and is ranked seventh in Big 12 only match with 1.11 blocks per set after recording a season-high 8.0 block at West Virginia 
-Guiding the offense is two experienced setters in seniors Lamprini Konstantindou and Kaylee Smith who are dishing out 6.16 and 4.90 assists per set, respectively 
-Dennison has been the anchor in the back row and is ranked second in the Big 12 with 4.66 digs per set after leading the league through the first two weekends of action 
-Dennison has picked up double-digit digs in 17 of the 20 matches played this season and 20+ in six 
-The highest ranked recruit to ever enroll at TCU in Abigail Buckingham has slowly made her way onto the court and is good for 2.85 kills per set when she sees action 
-Buckingham has put down double-digit kills in six matches this season and four of the last six matches 

Scouting the Opponent: West Virginia
-West Virginia enters the second half of Big 12 play after posting a 3-5 record in the first half and coming off a 3-2 victory over Kansas State 
-The Mountaineers also posted wins over Oklahoma (3-1) and TCU (3-1) in the first half of league action 
-Payton Caffrey leads the team offensively with 3.30 kills epr set while also picking up 2.45 digs per set 
-Caffrey is also leading the conference from behind the service line and has served up 33 service aces this season and 0.43 aces per set 
-Katelyn Evans (2.70 kills/set), Mia Swanegan (2.52 kills/set) and Natania Levak (2.12 kills/set) are also contributing offensively 
-Dishing out the assists for the offense this season is Erin Slinde who is totaling 9.92 assists per set while Emma Anderson will also step in and put up 5.33 assists per set 
-The back row is being run by Gianna Gotterba and Alexa Hastings who are picking up 3.25 and 3.32 digs per set, respectively 

Last Time We Met: 9/20/17 at West Virginia
-Despite taking the first set, the TCU volleyball could not continue the momentum as West Virginia took the final three sets for a 3-1 (21-25, 25-19, 25-17, 25-19) victory in the Big 12 opener at the WVU Coliseum in Morgantown, W. Va. 
-The Frogs hit .433 in the opening set with 14 kills and only one error to go along with four blocks against the Mountaineers, but then struggled the rest of the match to put together an offense as TCU was held to a .169 hitting clip for the match 
-Ashleigh Martin led the team for the seventh time this season in kills with 12, while Allye Beth Deaton also put down 12 kills to help lead the team for the second time this season 
-Anna Walsh chipped in 10 kills in the match and led the team with a season-high eight blocks 
-Dani Dennison led the team for the 11th time this season on defense with 14 digs with Kayla Scheevel finishing with 11 digs in the match 

Recap: at No. 22 Iowa State
-The first half of Big 12 Conference play came to an end on Saturday afternoon as the TCU volleyball team dropped a 3-0 (25-14, 25-17, 25-16) decision to No. 22 Iowa State inside the Hilton Coliseum in Ames, Iowa 
-The Horned Frogs struggled offensively in the match as the Cyclones used early runs to establish a lead in every set and never look back as they took the match in straight sets 
-Abigail Buckingham led the offensive charge for TCU with nine kills in the match while Sarah Langs contributed four kills 
-Kaylee Smith and Lamprini Konstantinidou dished out 10 and 9 assists, respectively 
-From the back row, Dani Dennison led the team for the 19th time this season with nine digs in the match
