FORT WORTH, Texas - The TCU volleyball team will continue action in the second half of Big 12 Conference play by traveling to Waco, Texas to take on No. 24 Baylor in the start of six straight matches on Wednesday, Nov. 1 at 6:30 p.m., at the Ferrell Center.

The match between the Horned Frogs (10-11, 2-7 Big 12) and the Bears (18-5, 8-2 Big 12) will air live FOX Sports Southwest with John Morris and Alex Banister on the call.

TCU Quick Hits
-This season marks the third under the helm of alumni and Director of Volleyball Jill (Pape) Kramer 
-Kramer (1996-99) was the first scholarship volleyball player on the inaugural team in 1996 and still holds the single-season and career school records in kills and total attacks 
-Kramer has led TCU to back-to-back appearances in the NCAA tournament, has totaled over 100 career wins in her coaching career and was recently inducted into the TCU Lettermen Hall of Fame 
-TCU is now 10-11 on the season and is hitting the road for a midweek match-up with Baylor 
-In the fifth RPI of the season, TCU checks in at No. 66 with the 17th best schedule in the country 
-The Horned Frogs are a young team with eight of the current nine true or redshirt freshmen having seen action this season 
-True freshmen Dani Dennison, Sarah Swanson and Berklie Baker have appeared in every match this season 
-The TCU offense has been a balanced attack this season with the rotation of pin hitters who are all hitting over 2.00 kills per set 
-Ashleigh Martin has started a `Marty Party' this year as the junior is putting down 2.73 kills per set and double-digit kills in 10 matches this season 
-Anna Walsh is becoming one of the most efficient hitters in the Big 12 as the junior hit above .300 in nine of the last 15 matches and 11 matches this season 
-Walsh has put down double-digit kills in 12 matches this season and helps lead the team in Big 12 only match with 3.13 kills per set and .288 hitting clip 
-The junior is also being defensive at the net and is ranked sixth in Big 12 only match with 1.13 blocks per set after recording a season-high 8.0 block at West Virginia 
-Guiding the offense is two experienced setters in seniors Lamprini Konstantindou and Kaylee Smith who are dishing out 6.42 and 4.90 assists per set, respectively 
-Dennison has been the anchor in the back row and is ranked second in the Big 12 with 4.59 digs per set 
-Dennison has picked up double-digit digs in 18 of the 21 matches played this season and 20+ in six 
-The highest ranked recruit to ever enroll at TCU in Abigail Buckingham has slowly made her way onto the court and is good for 3.00 kills per set when she sees action 
-Buckingham has put down double-digit kills in seven matches this season and four of the last seven matches and leads the team in conference matches with 3.21 kills per set and a .295 hitting clip 

Scouting the Opponent: #24 Baylor
-Baylor is ranked for the third consecutive week and is riding a two-match winning streak headed into Wednesday showdown with sweeps on the road at Texas Tech and Oklahoma last week 
-Katie Staiger is not only pacing the Bears offensively but also sits atop the Big 12 with 4.27 kills per set to go along with 2.75 digs per set 
-Yossiana Pressley, the reigning Big 12 Freshman and Offensive Player of the Week, is putting down 3.07 kills per set and is also good for 1.31 digs per set and 0.65 blocks per set 
-Shelly Fanning (2.80 kills/set), and Aniah Philo (2.05 kills/set) are also contributing offensively for Baylor with Fanning leading the team with a .394 hitting clip 
-Hannah Lockin is dishing out the assists this season with the freshman good for 11.12 assists per set while playing in every set so far 
-From the back row, Jana Brusek is picking up 3.95 digs per set to lead the Bears while Philo is good for 3.80 digs per set 

Last Time We Met: 9/23/17 at TCU
-In front of one the largest crowd of the season, the TCU volleyball team could not overcome a strong Baylor offensive presence as the Horned Frogs fell 3-0 (25-22, 25-17, 25-23) 
-Early runs by the Bears hurt the Frogs in each set as TCU was held to only 39 kills in the match 
-After being down by as much as four in the first set, TCU came back to take a 21-18 lead with strong blocking 
-The team could not hold on as Baylor put down six straight kills to regain the lead and another kill to seal the set 
-The Bears took the momentum to run out to early leads in the final two sets as TCU could never recover and dropped the match in three 
-Anna Walsh led the team with 13 kills in the match while Allye Beth Deaton put down nine kills 
-Dani Dennison led the defense from the back row with 14 digs and Berklie Baker was able to pick up nine digs 
-Walsh also led the defensive efforts at the net with three total blocks in the match 

Recap: West Virginia
-In front of another sold-out crowd, the TCU volleyball team kicked-off the second half of Big 12 Conference action with a 3-1 (21-25, 25-18, 25-21, 25-21) victory over West Virginia 
-The Horned Frogs used a balanced offensive attack and 12.0 total team blocks to bounce back from a first-set loss to take the match in four over the Mountaineers 
-TCU was able to hit .262 for the match which was its second highest hitting percentage in Big 12 action this season while also serving up five service aces and notching double-digit blocks for the fifth time this season 
-Abigail Buckingham led the way for the second straight match with the freshman putting down a career-high 18 kills with only one error on 34 swings for a .500 hitting clip 
-Ashleigh Martin score her third double-double of the season with 14 kills to go along with 12 digs, while Anna Walsh put down 12 kills with a .333 hitting percentage 
-Besides Martin, three other Frogs picked up double-digit digs in the match with Dani Dennison leading the way with 14 while Berklie Baker and Lexi MacLean totaled 11 and 10 digs, respectively
