FORT WORTH, Texas - The TCU volleyball team is ready to host Kansas on Saturday, Nov. 2, with first serve set for Noon at the University Recreation Center.

The Horned Frogs (13-10. 2-7 Big 12) are looking to snap a three-game losing streak, while the Jayhawks (17-5, 7-2 Big 12) are coming off a quick sweep of Baylor to start the second half of conference play.

Admission to the match will be free. Fans are encouraged to park in the free lot at the Travis Avenue Baptist Church, with a free shuttle service being provided to and from the Rec Center starting at 11 a.m.

TCU QUICK HITS
-The Horned Frogs are looking to break a three-game losing streak, as the team welcomes the Kansas Jayhawks to the Rec Center.
-TCU started the second half of Big 12 play by going four sets with No. 1 Texas - the team's first time taking on the No. 1 team in the nation and its first time taking a set from the Longhorns in program history.
-TCU trails Kansas in the series 1-3, with the Frogs only win coming in the first meeting between the teams in 1999.
-Yvonne Igodan continues to pace the TCU offense with 220 kills on the season and 2.65 kills per set.
-Igodan and Natalie Gower rank in the top 10 in the conference in hitting percentage at No. 7 (.313) and No. 9 (.302), respectively.
-Alexia Heist and Trisha Langely are guiding the TCU offense with 478 and 353 assists, respectively, while Langley leads the team with 22 service aces.
-Shane Peters is roaming the back court as libero and leads the team with 287 digs and 3.54 digs per set, including recording a career-high 27 digs against Oklahoma.
-Mattie Burleson is taking charge at the net and is ranked No. 8 in the Big 12 in blocks per set with 1.08 and leads the team with 79 blocks.

TCU VS. KANSAS SERIES NOTES
-TCU and Kansas are meeting for the fifth time, with the Jayhawks holding a 3-1 advantage in the series.
-The teams first met in 1999, with the Frogs claiming five-set victory over Kansas in Lawrence.
-In the two meetings last fall in Big 12 play, Kansas won both tilts, with the Jayhawks winning in four in Lawrence and sweeping TCU in Fort Worth.
-In the first conference match this season, the Jayhawks only recorded eight hitting errors on their way to sweeping TCU 3-0.
-First Meeting: Sept. 10, 1999 - TCU 3, Kansas 2
-Last Meeting: Sept. 28, 2013 - Kansas 3, TCU 0

BREAKING DOWN THE OPPONENT - KANSAS
-Kansas is sitting at No. 2 in the Big 12 standings and are coming off a sweep over Baylor to start the second half of conference play.
-Six different Jayhawks rank in the top-10 in six different Big 12 statistical categories - highlighted by the conference's best setter in Jayhawk senior Erin McNorton.
-McNorton leads the Big 12 for the ninth-straight week with 12.21 assists per set.
-Only two setters in the country average more assists than McNorton: Caitlin Dotson, Lipscomb (12.94) and Molly Kreklow, Missouri (12.43).
-KU is the only team in the Big 12 with three players in the top-10 in both blocks and points per set.
-Redshirt senior middle blocker Caroline Jarmoc and junior outside hitter Chelsea Albers are on both top-10 lists.
-Jarmoc appears on four of the Big 12's top-10 lists: hitting percentage (.326, 6th), kills per set (3.24, 7th), points per set (4.18, 4th) and blocks per set (1.32, 1st).
-Kansas ranks in the top-21 in the NCAA in blocks (2.75, 21st NCAA), kills (14.46, 14th NCAA) and assists (13.57, 10th NCAA). The Jayhawks lead the conference in all three categories.
