FORT WORTH, Texas (November 8, 2013) - The TCU volleyball team will host Baylor on Saturday, Nov. 9 at the University Recreation Center, with first serve set for 1 p.m.

This is the second meeting this season between the Horned Frogs (14-11, 2-8 Big 12) and the Lady Bears (11-15, 3-7 Big 12), with TCU picking up a quick 3-0 win over Baylor in Waco earlier this season.

TCU QUICK HITS
-The Horned Frogs are coming off a sweep of Prairie View A&M in their last nonconference game of the 2013 season.
-TCU started the second half of Big 12 play by going four sets with No. 1 Texas - the team's first time taking on the No. 1 team in the nation and its first time taking a set from the Longhorns in program history.
-Despite trailing Baylor 9-2 in the series, the Horned Frogs won the first match this season in conference play for TCU's first win in Waco in program history.
-Yvonne Igodan continues to pace the TCU offense with 234 kills on the season and 2.63 kills per set, while Ashley Smith is the other offensive leader with 214 kills and 2.71 kills per set.
-Igodan and Natalie Gower rank in the top 10 in the conference in hitting percentage at No. 8 (.309) and No. 9 (.306), respectively.
-Alexia Heist and Trisha Langely are guiding the TCU offense with 524 and 383 assists, respectively, while Langley leads the team with 25 service aces.
-Shane Peters is roaming the back court as libero and leads the team with 303 digs and 3.44 digs per set, including recording a career-high 27 digs against Oklahoma.
-Mattie Burleson is taking charge at the net and is ranked No. 8 in the Big 12 in blocks per set with 1.08 and leads the team with 91 total blocks.

TCU VS. BAYLOR SERIES NOTES
-TCU and Baylor are meeting for the 12th time and the second time this season, with the Bears holding a 9-2 advantage in the series.
-The teams have met in 1996, 1999, 2000 and every year since 2007, with three of the last six matches going five sets.
-Earlier this season, Natalie Gower led the Frogs to the program's first victory in Waco, when TCU swept Baylor.
-TCU is looking for its first sweep this season in conference play after Baylor swept the series last fall.

BREAKING DOWN THE OPPONENT - BAYLOR
-Baylor sits right above TCU in the conference standings with an overall record of 11-15 and a Big 12 record of 3-7.
-The Bears ended the month of October strong with two-straight conference wins over Kansas State and Texas Tech.
-Baylor is currently on a two-game losing streak after being swept at Kansas and dropping a 3-0 decision against Iowa State at home.
-Preseason All-Big 12 selection Zoe Adom leads Baylor with 267 kills and sits at No. 10 in the conference standings with 3.00 kills per set.
-Laura Jones, Nicole Bardaji and Thea Munch-Soegaard are all helping out on the offensive front and averaging over 2.00 kills per set.
-Amy Rosenbaum leads the team with 805 assists and 9.94 assists per set, but the setting role has been taken over by Morgan Reed the last few games.
-In the four games Reed has started, the freshman has dished out 115 assists and 8.21 assists per set, while also racking up 28 digs and seven total blocks.
-Mackenzie Mayo leads the back row efforts for the Bears with 307 digs and 3.27 digs per set, which is good for No. 10 in the Big 12.
