TCU Game Notes // Oklahoma Game Notes
FORT WORTH, Texas - Riding a two-game winning streak, the TCU volleyball team will travel to Norman, Okla., to take on the Oklahoma Sooners on Wednesday, Nov. 13. The match is set to start at 7 p.m., live on FSSW+ and FCS Central.
The Horned Frogs (15-11, 3-8 Big 12) are looking to split the series with the Sooners (18-7, 6-5 Big 12), after Oklahoma won a close 3-2 battle with TCU earlier this season in Fort Worth.

TCU QUICK HITS
-The Horned Frogs are on a two-game winning streak heading into Wednesday night's contest with the Sooners.
-TCU swept up Prairie View A&M 3-0 last Wednesday, before taking a 3-2 win over Baylor on Saturday for the series sweep of the Bears for the season.
-In the two matches last week, Stephanie Holland led the Frogs with 26 kills and 3.25 kills per set, while also hitting a .438 clip.
-Yvonne Igodan continues to pace the TCU offense with 248 kills on the season and 2.64 kills per set, while Ashley Smith is the other offensive leader with 224 kills and 2.67 kills per set.
-Igodan and Natalie Gower rank in the top 10 in the conference in hitting percentage at No. 7 (.311) and No. 8 (.307), respectively.
-Alexia Heist and Trisha Langley are guiding the TCU offense with 551 and 406 assists, respectively, while Langley leads the team with 27 service aces.
-Shane Peters is roaming the back court as libero and leads the team with 303 digs and 3.44 digs per set, including recording a career-high 27 digs in the previous match against Oklahoma.
-Mattie Burleson is taking charge at the net and is ranked No. 9 in the Big 12 in blocks per set with 1.06 and leads the team with 94 total blocks.
TCU VS. OKLAHOMA SERIES NOTES
-TCU and Oklahoma are meeting for the ninth time, with Sooners holding a 7-1 advantage in the series.
-The teams met every year from 2004-08 and renewed the series last fall twice in conference play.
-The Frogs have only won contest in the series and it came in the initial meeting back in 2004.
-In the two meetings last fall in Big 12 play, Oklahoma won both matchups, with the Sooners sweeping the first match and the second match going four sets.
-Oklahoma won the first matchup with a 3-2 win over TCU in Fort Worth.

BREAKING DOWN THE OPPONENT - OKLAHOMA
-Oklahoma enters the match with an overall record of 18-7 and a 6-5 mark in Big 12 play.
-The Sooners are looking to snap a three-game losing streak - the program's longest since 2011.
-Oklahoma is coming off a 3-0 loss to No. 25 Iowa State and dropped to 2-3 on the season against ranked opponents.
-TCU will play on one tough court as it travels to McCasland Field House, where the Sooners are 7-2 this season and 83-37 under head coach Santiago Restrepo.
-All-American Sallie McLaurin leads Oklahoma offensively with 337 kills and 3.70 kills per set, while also leading the Big 12 with a .438 hitting percentage.
-Preseason All-Big 12 selection Kierra Holst is helping with the offensive load by putting down 2.97 kills per set, while Keila Rodriguez is chipping in 2.34.
-Taylor Migliazzo is holding down the back court for the Sooners and elads the team with 3.26 digs per set and 297 digs for the season.
-Julia Doyle is dishing out the assists for Oklahoma and has racked up 828 for the season for a 9.10 assist per set average.
TAKING IT TO FIVE
-In four of its Big 12 matches, TCU has gone to five sets with its opponents and has five five-set thrillers so far this season.
-In all five matches this season, at least one Frog has had a career night, with Yvonne Igodan starting it off with a season-high 20 kills and only one error for a career-high .704 hitting percentage in the five-set win over Ole Miss.
-Shane Peters continued the trend just a few short weeks later when she notched a then career-high 23 digs against Kansas State and then dethroning that record against Oklahoma last Wednesday night with 27 digs.
-TCU's five-set match against Texas Tech saw Natalie Gower post a career-high 16 kills.
-In the Frogs most recent five-set showdown, Stephanie Holland led TCU in kills for the third match in a row and recorded a career-high 19 kills, while also finishing with a .515 hitting clip.
-TCU is making appearances on the FOX Broadcasting channel six times this season and other stations a total of 10 times.
-The Frogs won their first television match of the season and home opener against North Texas on Sept. 11, 3-0 and defeated Stephen F. Austin 3-1 in the team's second TV match.
-Big 12 matches against Texas (Sept. 25), West Virginia (Oct. 2), at Baylor (Oct. 16) and Oklahoma (Oct. 23) will also get the television coverage on FSSW+ and FOX Sports Southwest.
