NORMAN, Okla. - With only two matches remaining in the regular season, the TCU volleyball team will travel to Norman, Okla., to face Oklahoma on Saturday, Nov. 21 at Noon in McCasland Field House for the team's road finale this season.

The match between the Horned Frogs (18-8, 8-6 Big 12) and the Sooners (9-15, 3-9 Big 12) will air live and for free on SoonerSports.TV.

Series History
Oklahoma is holding the advantage in the series record at 9-3, but TCU has been victorious in the last two meetings with two five-set thrilling wins in Fort Worth. Earlier this season, TCU went ahead 2-0 and had to hold off a battle from the Sooners to take the match in five. The win last fall marked the Horned Frogs' first victory over Oklahoma since joining the Big 12 in 2012 and the first win since the teams first squared off in 2004. Saturday's match is the sixth meeting all-time to be played in Norman, with Oklahoma leading the series with a 4-1 record.

Scouting The Opponent
Oklahoma has picked up three wins in conference action this season and are coming off a 3-0 sweep at Baylor this past Sunday. The win over the Bears gave Oklahoma a series sweep for the first time this season.

The Sooner offense is paced by five players who are all averaging over 2.00 kills per set. Madison Ward is leading the charge with 2.98 kills per set, while Kierra Holst is putting down 2.54 kills per set. Kimmy Gardiner is close behind with 2.51 kills per set, while Micaela Spann (2.25 k/s) and Marion Hazelwood (2.02 k/s) round out the offense by Oklahoma. Dishing out the assists this season is split between senior Julia Doyle (7.50 a/s) and freshman Audrey Alford (5.89 a/s).

As a team, Oklahoma is staying strong at the net with 2.21 blocks per set, with Hazelwood good for 1.06 blocks per set and Spann putting down 1.00 blocks per set. From the back row, Ward is leading the team with 2.61 digs per set, while Taylor Migliazzo has 2.52 digs per set this season.

We Meet Again: First Meeting With Oklahoma Recap
The TCU volleyball team pulled off its second straight five-set thriller on Wednesday, Oct. 7 with a 3-2 (25-23, 25-20, 19-25, 24-25, 18-16) victory over Oklahoma in front of its third straight sold-out crowd inside the University Recreation Center.

Trailing 12-9 in the final set, the Horned Frogs used a kill from Ashley Smith to spark a 3-0 run to even up the battle for the match against the Sooners. After four more ties and two match-points attempts by TCU, the Frogs third try at the win was successful, as Smith was able to put down her team-best 15th kill of the match to seal the comeback victory.

TCU's defense at the net was the best this season, as the team put up a season-high 19.5 blocks against Oklahoma, which is also the fifth-most by the Frogs in a match in program history. Regan McGuire tied her career-high and the TCU single-match program record by finishing with 12 blocks on the night. The TCU offense was powered by four players that boasted double-digit kills in the match, with Smith (15), McGuire (10), Sarita Mikals (14) and Natalie Gower (11).

Last Time Out: Texas Tech Recap
The seventh consecutive sold-out crowd of the season was in the University Recreation Center on Wednesday night, as the TCU volleyball team picked up a 3-0 (25-13, 26-24, 25-18) victory over Texas Tech for the team's program-best eighth win in league action this season.

In front of the second largest crowd in program history of 2,275 fans, the Horned Frogs (18-8, 8-6 Big 12) recorded their 12th sweep this season and its second series sweep of conference action with the win over the Red Raiders (14-14, 3-11 Big 12).

After dominating the opening set, the Frogs had to battle out the final two sets and used a match-high 44 kills, including 21 in the third set alone, to go along with a .380 clip to pick up the mid-week win. TCU also led in every other statistical category, as the team put up 10 blocks, four service aces and 42 digs in the match.

Ashley Smith led the way with a double-double on the night of 12 kills and 10 digs and a .385 hitting percentage. Regan McGuire chipped in nine kills, while Natalie Gower and Sarita Mikals were each good for eight kills each. Gower was key at the net on the night, as the junior finished with a team- and match-high eight blocks.
