FORT WORTH, Texas - The quarterfinals and the semifinals of the National Invitational Volleyball Championship (NIVC) are coming to Fort Worth as the TCU volleyball is set to host Green Bay, UC Irvine and Texas Tech from December 6-7 at The Rickel inside the University Recreation Center.

The first quarterfinal match on Wednesday will feature the Anteaters (24-7) against the Red Raiders (17-14) at 4 p.m., before the Horned Frogs (14-16) will take on the Phoenix (17-15) at 7 p.m. The winners of each match will face off in the NIVC semifinal on Thursday at 7p.m. All three matches will air live on GoFrogs.com through FrogVision with a CBS Sports All-Access subscription.

Tickets
Tickets for NIVC quarterfinal and semifinal matches will be available for purchase at the TCU Ticket Office located inside the Rec Center. Adult tickets will be priced at $11 and youth tickets available for $6. For more ticket information, please call the ticket office at 817-257-FROG.

Clear Bag Policy
Only the following items will be permitted upon entrance into TCU athletics facilities:
-Bags that are clear plastic, vinyl or PVC and not exceeding 14 inches by 14 inches
-One-gallon clear plastic freezer bag (Ziploc bag or similar)
-One unopened bottle of water
-Small clutch bags with or without a handle or strap can be taken into the venue with one of the clear plastic bags
-The Small clutch bags must be approximately the size of a hand 
-Exceptions will be made for medically necessary items after proper inspection at stadium/arena gates
-Backpacks, diaper bags and other similar bags will not be allowed

TCU Quick Hits
-This season marks the third under the helm of alumni and Director of Volleyball Jill (Pape) Kramer 
-Kramer (1996-99) was the first scholarship volleyball player on the inaugural team in 1996 and still holds the single-season and career school records in kills and total attacks 
-Kramer has led TCU to three straight appearances in the postseason, has totaled over 100 career wins in her coaching career and was recently inducted into the TCU Lettermen Hall of Fame 
-The at-large selection to the 2017 National Invitational Volleyball Championship (NIVC) marks the first for the TCU volleyball program and the fourth selection into the postseason in program history
-In the ninth RPI of the season, TCU checks in at No. 80 with the ninth best schedule in the country 
-The Horned Frogs are a young team with all nine true or redshirt freshmen having seen action this season 
-The highest ranked recruit to ever enroll at TCU in Abigail Buckingham has been an impact player in the second half of the season and is good for 2.99 kills per set to lead the team 
-Buckingham has put down double-digit kills in 11 matches this season and eight of the last 16 matches and helped lead the team in conference matches with 2.98 kills per set
-True freshmen Dani Dennison, Sarah Swanson and Berklie Baker have appeared in every match this season 
-The TCU offense has been a balanced attack this season with the rotation of pin hitters who are all hitting over 2.00 kills per set 
-Ashleigh Martin has started a `Marty Party' this year as the junior is putting down 2.49 kills per set and double-digit kills in 13 matches this season 
-Anna Walsh is becoming one of the most efficient hitters in the Big 12 as the junior has hit above .300 in 14 matches this season and in seven league matches 
-Walsh has put down double-digit kills in 16 matches this season and helps lead the team with 2.96 kills per match and a .314 hitting clip
-The junior is also being defensive at the net and leads the team overall with 1.07 blocks per set and in Big 12 matches with 1.13 blocks per set 
-Guiding the offense is two experienced setters in seniors Lamprini Konstantindou and Kaylee Smith who are dishing out 6.30 and 4.72 assists per set, respectively, with Tori Dilfer stepping in at times 
-Dennison has been the anchor in the back row and is ranked second in the Big 12 with 4.56 digs per set 
-Dennison has picked up double-digit digs in 26 of the 30 matches played this season and 20+ in eight 

Postseason Quick Hits
-The at-large selection to the 2017 National Invitational Volleyball Championship (NIVC) marks the first for the TCU volleyball program 
-The NIVC is making a return after being played from 1989-1995. TCU did not officially become a volleyball program until 1996
-The Horned Frogs are entering postseason action for the third straight year and fourth time in program history after going to the NCAA Championship in 2009, 2015 and 2016
-TCU's first postseason appearance came in the NCAA Championship back in 2009, where they were also an at-large selection and the team was able to advance to the second round
-The Frogs are 3-3 in postseason action with a 3-0 (26-24, 25-13, 27-25) victory over Rice in the first round in 2009 and a 3-0 (25-15, 25-14, 25-18) loss to Texas in the second round
-The team dropped a 3-2 (17-25, 25-23, 24-26, 25-21, 15-13) decision to No. 7 Hawaii in the first round in 2016
-TCU scored a 3-1 (25-17, 25-23, 22-25, 25-20) victory over Wichita State in the NCAA Championship first round last year before succumbing in a 3-0 (25-22, 25-12, 25-16) loss to No. 2 Nebraska in the second round
-TCU is one of seven Big 12 schools that are making an appearance in the 2017 postseason, as they join NCAA Tournament teams Texas, Baylor, Iowa State and Kansas along with NIVC participants Texas Tech and West Virginia
-This marks the third appearance in the postseason for Director of Volleyball Jill Kramer as a head coach
-So far in the NIVC tournament, TCU has posted a 3-0 (28-26, 25-21, 26-24) victory over Wyoming and a 3-2 (24-26, 25-21, 23-25, 25-23, 15-10) win over North Texas

Scouting the Opponent: Green Bay
-Green Bay enters the match with an overall record of 17-15 after getting a 3-2 (25-21, 32-30, 18-25, 16-25, 16-14) win over Bowling Green in the opening round of the NIVC before getting the 3-1 (25-23, 25-19, 18-25, 26-24) victory over Illinois State to advance to the quarterfinals
-Before postseason action, Green Bay has won three of its last four matches of the season
-The Phoenix are led by two players hitting over 3.00 kills per set with Taylor Wolf leading the way with 3.25 kills per set and Lydia DeWeese following along with 3.20 kills per set
-Jessica Wolf (2.78 kills/set) and Roberta Todd (2.42 kills/set) are also contributing offensively for Green Bay
-DeWeese is the most efficient hitter for Green Bay with a .336 hitting clip and is also leading the team in blocking at 0.98 blocks per set
-Maddie Yoss is guiding the offense with 11.42 assists per set while also picking up 2.39 digs per set and serving up 23 service aces
-On defense from the back row, Vanessa Buman is picking up 4.57 digs per set as libero with Taylor Wolf also good for 2.54 digs per set

Last Time Out: NIVC Second Round vs North Texas
-Another career-high night offensively pushed the TCU volleyball team into the National Invitational Volleyball Championship (NIVC) Elite 8 with a 3-2 (24-26, 25-21, 23-25, 25-23, 15-10) victory over North Texas on Friday night at the North Texas Volleyball Center in Denton, Texas
-With the victory, TCU secured its place in the NIVC Elite 8 for the first time in program history
-Trailing 2-1 in the match and down 23-22 in the fourth set, TCU used a kill from Abigail Buckingham to spark a 3-0 run and steal the set to send the match into the decisive fifth set
-From there, it was all junior Anna Walsh in the final frame as she put down seven kills to score a career-high 25 kills in the match to secure the comeback for TCU
-Along with Walsh's career-high kills, Lexi MacLean also put down 14 kills and Buckingham finished with 10 kills
-Dani Dennison picked up 21 digs in the match to lead the defense, while Berklie Baker and Kayla Scheevel were each responsible for 13 digs
-As a team, TCU record 14.0 total blocks with Walsh and Swanson leading the way with 7.0
