FORT WORTH, Texas - TCU volleyball seniors Jordan Raines and Kristen Hester have been tabbed as honorable mention All-West Region by the AVCA. This marks the second time in program history the Horned Frogs have had multiple honorees as three Frogs were tabbed in 2009.

Hester, a 2011 Mountain West All-Conference honoree, was the Frogs' top offensive performer this season, ranking fifth in the league with an average of 3.31 kills per set. Her .336 attacking percentage was third in the conference. She has led the team in kills 17 times and blocks in 11 matches. The senior tallied double-digit kills in 23 matches this season and averaged 3.91 points per set.

Raines tallied a team-high 15 double-doubles on the season. She ranked second on the team and sixth in the league with an average of 3.21 kills per set. Her average of 2.75 digs per set was second on the team. Overall, Raines paced the team offensively in nine matches and led the team with 24 double-digit kill matches. She was honored by the league as an all-conference performer.

Raines and Hester join Megan Munce (2009), Kourtney Edwards (2009) and Christy Hudson (2009) as the only Horned Frogs in program history to earn All-Region honors from the AVCA.
