Taylor Larson is in his sixth year at TCU where he serves as Associate Head Strength and Conditioning Coach. He isΒ the primary strength and conditioning coach for the TCU volleyball and equestrian programs.

Larson joined TCU in June 2018 after previously serving as assistant director of strength and conditioning at Central Michigan since 2011. In total, Larson was with the Chippewas since 2009 beginning as a graduate assistant.

While with the Chippewas, Larson worked most recently with menβs and womenβs basketball, softball, wrestling and assisted with football.

In 2017-18, Larson was an integral part of the Central Michiganβs womenβs basketball NCAA Sweet 16 appearance, as well as its MAC regular-season and tournament titles.

The Midland, Mich., native was part of three womenβs basketball MAC championships (2013, 2017, and 2018) while at CMU. He was also part of MAC titles in menβs basketball (2015), five times in wrestling (2009, 2010, 2011, 2012, and 2013) twice in softball (2013 and 2017) and once in football (2009).

He also coached 17 All-Americans, numerous first team All-Conference selections and was voted 2018 Staff Member of the Year at Central Michigan.

Larson earned his bachelorβs degree in kinesiology from Michigan State University in 2007. He earned his masterβs degree in physical education from Central Michigan University in 2011.

He owns certifications from the National Strength and Conditioning Association (CSCS) and is a MHSAA Master Certified Coach.

Larson and his wife, Megan, have two daughters, Mikaela and Kiera.
