
Rifle Heads to Colorado for Two Matches

Frogs set to face trio of Top 15 opponents
FORT WORTH – The No. 7 TCU women's rifle team is back in action this weekend with a pair of matches in Colorado. TCU will shoot at Air Force on Saturday before making the short trek to the US Olympic Training Center on Sunday.
Five teams will participate in both matches. Joining the Horned Frogs in Colorado will be No. 2 Georgia Southern, No. 3 Alaska Fairbanks, No. 15 Air Force and Schreiner University. Both matches are slated to get underway at 9 a.m. (CT) and will feature two relays of each discipline.
The Frogs lineup will feature seven shooters: Marissa Fedora, Christina Hillinger, Mikole Hogan, Mackenzie Kring, Rylie Passmore, Alexandra Rosenlew and Katie Zaun.
Through three matches this season, TCU ranks seventh nationally with an aggregate average of 4730.00. The Frogs rank third nationally in air rifle average (2383.67) and seventh in smallbore (2346.33).
Zuan is coming off a first-place finish at UTEP. She posted her highest aggregate mark of the season with a 1,191. This season, she leads the team in both disciplines with a 590.7 smallbore average and a 596.7 air rifle average.
Hogan matched her career-high aggregate score with an 1,888 and finished second at UTEP. Rosenlew served as a counter in both disciplines and had a strong day, setting career-highs in both disciplines (590 smallbore; 596 air rifle) and aggregate score (1,186) while finishing third.
Passmore and Fedora have served as counters in both disciplines in all three matches. Fedora has established career-highs in both disciplines and aggregate score this season. She boasts a season average of 587.33 in smallbore and a 595.33 in air rifle. Passmore, who has also recorded career-highs in both disciplines this season, is averaging a 583.3 in smallbore and a 595.3 in air rifle.
Kring has been as a counter in air rifle for all three matches this season and is averaging a 595.3 in the discipline. Hillinger served as a counter in smallbore twice and owns a season average of 581.00. She fired a season-high 594 in air rifle in the last match and owns a 592.33 season average.
Air Force has competed in one match this season. The Falcons fired a 4,690 (2,230 smallbore, 2,370 air rifle). Victoria Leppert led the Falcons in both disciplines, shooting a 583 in smallbore and a 595 air rifle.
Alaska has shot in two matches and boasts season averages of 2,348.50 in smallbore and a 2,382.50 in air rifle. Lucie Kissenberger is the team's top smallbore shooter with a 589.5 average, while Teagan Perkowski tops the squad in air rifle (597.00).
Georgia Southern ranks in the top five in both disciplines (4th - 2,383.25 air rifle; 5th -2,349 smallbore). Emme Walrath is the team's top shooter with a 590 smallbore average and a 596.25 air rifle average.
