Hudson Wilt had the Frogs’ best round on Saturday

PEBBLE BEACH, Calif. – TCU moved to fifth place following a round of 6-over in the second round of the Carmel Cup on Saturday at Spyglass Hill.

Four teams went under par and all four are ahead of the Horned Frogs with the final round being played on Sunday. TCU is 4-over for the tournament, while Vanderbilt leads the eight-team field at 22-under.

Brothers Hudson and Toby Wilt are tied for 14^th place. Hudson Wilt had the Frogs' best round of the day, shooting 1-under 71. His only bogey came on the final hole.

Freshman Nathan Miller and senior Jack Beauchamp each shot 2-over 74. Miller moved to 22^nd place at 2-under 144 while Beachamp is tied for 32^nd at 4-over 148.

Sophomore Charlie Wylie had his best round so far at 1-over 73. He is tied for 35^th place at 5-over 149.

The final round will begin at 8:39 a.m. on Sunday.
